on the first of May I was wondering what celebrations are people looking forward to this month. back home we have a few that are very important culturally and socially. warm sunny days and best part of spring make it even better.
starting on the labor day this month also features victory day, may 9, and the end of school year, always on may 25. I used to love all the festivities and days off that are not happening in this part of the world. my sister was born in May so we had another reason to eat, drink and be merry.
Hiking was definitely number one cool thing that happened over the last four weeks. Nature is giving so much without asking for anything in return. I feel like it’s a great lesson. I’m so blessed to be in the Pacific Northwest, with all the natural wonders of the United States presented.

How did your March go? What was the best about it?
they met to talk under the cherry blossoms last night, over the past three weeks so many things happened. old friends lost track of time and got to the alley way too late for the pictures.
they talked about latest news and coming celebrations, one of the girls was about to get married, how exciting! they talked and talked until it was time to part. spring is a difficult time of year, they could both feel it.
under the cherry blossoms things seemed brighter, blooms made their mood lighter. the whole life is ahead of you, she told to her younger friend, so many open doors. she said it because this is what she wished was true, she said it because she was hoping for the better but deep inside she knew the other side of things.
spring is young and promising, she never looks back, new life is about to start with naive expectations of things going up and up…
