these pictures show three different settings on my phone. I like all of them, let me show you more of my captures. Clear skies after the rain. Long walks through downtown Portland. Young people everywhere, live music under the bridge. Venue for anyone and everyone. City full of charm.

notice the difference, which one is the best in your opinion? I think we should all build bridges instead of putting fences for our defences.

tonight the air is fresh and warm, no wind, no pressure, just perfect weather for an evening walk and a long talk. Spring is green, March is smart.

spring break is here, so far and do near. I open a new page in my book, I want to see what it took. some pain and a bit of sacrifice, no fear, just don’t open your eyes. we can make it through, if you have faith in what you do.

Rain or Shine

in the beginning February you don’t always expect sun and rain, rain and sun, more rain in the middle of Footbridge Trail in Tillamook National forest. But apparently this is what happens a lot.

the Wilson River is flowing fast, the white water is loud and beautiful, the trail was a bit muddy especially near the waterfall. we got a number of pictures yet they don’t really show the color of the water which varies from turquoise to blue grey.

on the trail we met four dirt bikes which was a bummer, they are loud and stinky, completely irrelevant to the scenery we wanted to enjoy. other than that it was a peaceful afternoon with lots of wonderful views.

the rain started as a mist thru the sun rays, so subtle and completely harmless. we enjoyed the whimsical fit of the weather, hoping it will blow by. a few minutes later it turned into something much more substantial, so we got soaked on the way back.

have you noticed that the weather changes her mood so quickly? it can be annoying at times. come rain or shine, I will always go out to see the elemental beauty of the water and air, sun and moon, day and night. the contrast is so inspiring, you can’t ignore it. what do you choose to do about it?
